Environmental management and protection are among our highest priorities. We strive to minimize our environmental impact through our Environmental Management System, high standards of environmental monitoring and sampling, proactive risk management, and measures to prevent or mitigate incidents. Working with government agencies, stakeholders and Indigenous peoples, we ensure our activities meet or exceed legal requirements and social expectations.

Health & Safety

Zero harm is our mandate and we are committed to ensuring a safe environment for everyone on our mine site and exploration properties. Safety is our core value and safe production is our core responsibility. Employees at all levels own the health, safety and wellbeing of their coworkers through the Internal Responsibility System. Their awareness, responsibility and action help to identify and mitigate risk.

Mining has inherent risk, but with the right attitude, hazard recognition, and mitigations, we can eliminate or reduce hazards to achieve safe production. Our goal is to be a world-class leader in health and safety so everyone returns home safely. It is shared by all who work for North American Palladium.
